Billboard
Nothing says something big is happening like a challah the size of an elephant. When you’re driving through your city, you won’t miss it! Although expensive, when choosing a
billboard in the right location, the impact it has is priceless
Poster
Our designers have been burning the midnight (olive) oil to create posters that promote the Challah Bake, and they are so cool, you can almost smell the challah baking. Use these to get your community excited… stick them up at schools, shuls and community centres, at bus stops and train stations, in restaurants and notice boards throughout your town or city.
Flyer
Give your Challah Bake wings by spreading the message far and wide. Flyers are simple to read and cheap to print. You can hand them out at community centres, to kids in schools, put them on car windscreens in parking lots at malls or at events – anywhere in your area that you think will expand your reach. You can use this artwork in local magazines or newsletters and attach it to e-mailers about the event.
Invite Postcard
The postcard is a unique way of getting the word out. Come up with a fun way to use the postcards, like giving them to five of your friends, and having them give the postcards to five of their friends, creating a chain of postcard invites that ensures everyone has a ‘personal’ invitation to the Challah Bake. Or how about handing them out to schoolkids, and having them write a note to someone else in the class, in their family or in the community inviting them to the event.
Email Jpeg
Get your community’s inboxes beeping with emails that create excitement about the Challah Bake. Schools, shuls and community centres all have databases – include them as a Challah Bake partner if they send out a mail to help get the word out. Use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat – whichever digital channel will reach your peeps.
Social Media
Social media is the marketing tool with exceptional reach, allowing you to really extend a hand to your event. Get your event trending on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat, and your Challah Bake has the potential to go viral! Use our cover images designed especially for Facebook to kick-start your social media campaign. Look at the tools each medium uses to attract participants, like adding your location – or ‘checking-in’ – to the Challah Bake event. Get other people talking about the event – then their audience becomes yours!
Apron
Your Challah Bake apron gets the message of The Shabbat Project out, as pics of your event will be shared and shared again. With thousands of participants wearing their hearts on their sleeves and The Shabbat Project logo on their aprons… this marketing tool/clothing protector is both functional and effective.
Recipe Card
Your recipe for a successful Challah Bake is in the bag! Access the artwork from us and localise it for your city, by adding in sponsor logos or other info specific to your event. This is a great take-home souvenir. We’ve heard many stories of people baking week after week with the recipe and memory of The Great Big Challah Bake in mind.
